Rambo Review!!!!

Well where do I start? I think the best place to start is the beginning, and the story started like like most great stories start, with a book. The story goes that a man named John Rambo comes back home from Vietnam, but instead of a heros welcome he realizes that the land he defended has changed and turn against him.
A true life realization of men and women in America only thing is, this is a movie so Rambo goes crazy and turns on all the cops in town. And delivers one of the most memorable lines of the 80s "They started this" "They started this" "I'm just ending it!"

Now for me to say that this movie is violent is a understatement it goes above and beyond of what a "Grindhouse" movie would go we got violence towards woman and children, but it all prepares you for the hell that Rambo brings later in the movie. The pace of the movie is great it all works out great, if it were any longer it would over stay its welcome. But its perfect, well for what it is, this movie wont win any awards except maybe the most badass hero in a bandanna award but it delivers for what it is.

The supporting cast is ok and doesn't get to annoying to the point that you can't stand to watch them. They go in do what they are supposed to do and get out, kinda like the marines in Aliens.

If there is one character that is kinda annoying it would be the lead female, she is a pain in the ass but without her we really wouldn't have a plot. I was surprised that Stallone delivers a good movie considering that Balboa fell a little short, after that movie I thought it was over for the guy but he totally redeems himself with this one. I mean its all you could really ask for if you know what you'll be getting expect nothing but a pure action flick that doesn't require a lot of thinking. Nuff Said!

There was a huge flood of rumor and just crazyness soooooooooooo

SSBB Hype

Ok if you are
new to this whole franchise of the game then let me give you a quick summary. What would it be like if you could pit Mario against Samus from Metroid? Who would win? Well I'm sure it was on a lot of kids minds as they were growing up, Nintendo was thinking of news ways to re-invent itself and decided to make a fighting game, and came up with that exact idea and called it Super Smash Brothers. It originally came out for the Nintendo 64 and became a huge hit amongst fighter lovers and gamers alike. After that a sequel was made for the Gamecube and now a new one is scheduled for release on the Wii. As of this blog the release date is March 9th.

The game so far has been hyped since the announcement of its release in early 2006 even before the Wii was launched. Only thing was no one expected it to be what is hyped as game of the year if not the century. And with updates on the Dojo,
people just get more and more excited, this game has been a culmination of fans and game designers alike who always wondered what it would be to have sonic vs. Mario. Now some of the features that have been announced that has pleased us the gamers are, Online capabilities, demos of original games to unlock, and the usual bonuses like collecting statues from the original games.

Now with more a
nd more things added to the game it is shaping up to be a huge hit, and its no wonder why it keeps getting bumped back. Originally it was scheduled for release in Dec. and because of all this adds to it, its in this writers opinion that it keeps getting bumped back. This game will set a new standard hopefully for games to come.

I'll leave ya guys with these images to kinda give you the idea of what to expect and a video of the online games, the video is of players playing from Tokyo to Kyoto to test out the speed and lag capabilities.

News of the day 01/24/08

P.T. Andersons new movie?

Bloody Disgusting reports that, according to a trusted source, There Will Be Blooddirector Paul Thomas Anderson is planning to make his next film a horror movie. Most likely a
contemplative three-hour horror starring an ensemble cast (including Philip Seymour Hoffman, John C. Reilly, and Luis Guzman) who realize their tragic interconnectedness through a series of local murders, but a horror all the same. That sounds like a great departure, though.

Cloverfield action figure out now!

Hasbro is listing a new action figure on the new movie, that most agree on was bad! Now while this writer can't officially say
since he hasn't seen it, the figure could be a good idea to add to my monster collection now if only I could see it.

Broken DS hinges

So this is my first blog and I wasn't sure what to post about. But decided after playing Animal Crossing recently to post about my DS, now I would normally give huge praise but I can't because of a problem with the DS.

The problem which is now becoming more common thanks to places like Kotaku that report this sort of thing and now you could add me to the list now so here's my evidence for the court.

Keep in mind I will send it back I just hope they don't send me a dirty refurb.
