Ghost calls

My Cell
Via Gizmodo:

"A grieving widower claims to have been receiving calls and text messages from beyond the grave. Frank Jones, whose wife Sadie died five years ago, says he has been plagued by SMS messages and missed calls since she was buried—her beloved cellphone in the coffin beside her.

The weirdest part of all of this is that 20 years ago, when Frank and his family moved into their house in the British resort town of Blackpool, they were plagued by paranormal behavior. Doors were slammed, bedclothes pulled off the kids while they slept, taps were turned on—and all this was put down to a malevolent presence called "The Thing."

So, the Joneses called in Blackpool's answer to Ghostbusters, the Fleetwood Spiritualist Church, who cleansed the property of The Thing, according to them a spirit "trapped between two worlds." For five years everything was A-OK until the family was hit by a double tragedy: first the death of son Steven, then Sadie just three months later. After she was buried, the weirdness returned.

Shortly after his wife's death, Frank claims to have had a missed call on his mobile, which didn't ring. "The call was from my own home number, but there was nobody in the house," he explains. "When I went inside there was a smell like cigarettes which Sadie used to smoke and the smell of her perfume." The 59-year-old also claims that his late wife has been sending them all SMSes from beyond the grave. "There have been messages with words Sadie would say but there's no number."

Jennifer Lynch's new film

David Lynch had a daughter and she makes movies just like her father, her first film had some controversy involving Kim Basinger and a lawsuit.

But with that behind her, this new film looks like its following in her dads foot steps.

Small world changes

Some of you who don't keep up with the news on this sort of thing like I do might want to know that Disneyland is planning on changing its a small world I was there in Nov. for my birthday and was lucky enough to ride it during its Christmas run.
But rumors which are starting to sound more and more like truths, are stating that Disney is planning on changing the ride to take out parts, like the rain forest part and making it a America tribute, also are rumors of adding Disney characters to the ride like Mickey etc.
I've added links for those of you who want to do something about this whole situation:

Boba Fett in Bronze

Staying on par with Star Wars things how about this?

A man named Scott decided to dip his Boba Fett pez dispenser in bronze

Via Geekologie:

"I made this using the lost wax casting process with an organic burnout. The material is silicon bronze. The original sleeve for the Pez broke, so I cannibalize dparts from another dispenser: Simba from the Lion King. The hole in the body resulted from an incomplete casting of the thin part; probably could have had better sprue placement. I like the results, though. The replacement sleeve was modified for the "battle scar" effect, revealing the Pez. Finishing was minimal, with a pretty standard bronze patina."
